
C.J. loved life, his family, and Jesus. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and, before becoming too ill, he was working on a degree in graphic design.
C.J. was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward “Billy” Filback, Louise Filback Young, Henry Jack Young, Kathern Cocraham, and Franky Brasfield, and two aunts, Stella Dockery and Mary “Libby” Felty.
He leaves behind to treasure his memory, his mother, Vickie Tindle, of Beaver Dam; his father, Carl E. Hubbard Sr., of Taylorville; three siblings, Anthony B. Hubbard, of Taylorsville, Krystal (David) Greene, of Harriman, Tennessee, and Elaineia (Ronnie) Sailing, of Horse Branch, Kentucky; 10 nieces and nephews, Jace, Cody, Rowena, Scott, William, Joshua II, Nathan, Shayna, Elysia, and Elyjah; a great-nephew, Bryton; great-niece, Addisyn; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Daimon Glaskox officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Echols. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
