FORDSVILLE, Ky. — John Wesley Estes Jr., 60, of Fordsville, died Monday, March 25, 2019, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was an Army National Guard veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Estes Sr. and Betty Lee Young; and a sister, Roberta Lee Bennett.
Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Estes, of Fordsville; a daughter, Brandi Estes, of Fordsville; a grandson, Wesley Kyle Estes, of Fordsville; a brother, James Urey (Terri) Estes, of Owensboro, Kentucky; two sisters, Brenda Kay (John) Castello, of Fordsville, and Barbara Renee (Rodney) Clapp, of Mayfield, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery, Maceo, with military honors by the Ohio County Honor Guard. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
