BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Ramona “Monie” Elaine Arnold, 66, passed Feb. 27, 2019, at her home. Monie was born Sept. 2, 1952, to Bettye Richardson Arnold and the late Elmer Darrel Arnold, of Cromwell, Kentucky.
Monie graduated from Ohio County High School and retired from Walmart. She enjoyed collecting miniature items for her printer’s trays. She also enjoyed quilting and taught many others to quilt. She was a member of the Hickory Community’s “Stitch & Bitch” Club.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Glen Baize.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Jean Baize Tichenor, of Beaver Dam, and Becky’s fiancé, Brandon Moore, of Newburgh, Indiana; her mother, Bettye Richardson Arnold, of Beaver Dam; her brothers, Glen Arnold, of Cromwell, Perry (Patti) Arnold, of Cromwell, Kelly (Kristy) Arnold, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sisters, Charlene (Mitch) Creager, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Jackie (Larry) Widsom, of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Paige, Madi and David-Trey; and special friend, Tommy Loney, of Beaver Dam.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. John Cashion officiating. Burial will be in Leach Cemetery near Horse Branch, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
