OLATON, Ky. — Scarlett P. Lindsey, 77, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at her home. She was born in Peking, Illinois, Aug. 4, 1941, daughter of the late Alvey and Lucille Smith Payton.
Scarlett was a member of Olaton Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Lindsey, in 2004, and her daughter, Shelia Lindsey, in 2017.
Survivors include her daughters, Marica (Jeff) Crabtree and Colleen (Chris) Crabtree; grandchildren, Caleb Lindsey, Molly (John) Burden, and Holly Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Abney, Skyler Burden and Jaxson Burden; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Bobby Renfrow officiating. Burial will follow in Olaton Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
