HARTFORD, Ky. — Mona Ree Ashby Gahn, 93, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at Signature Health Care in Hartford. She was born Dec. 23, 1925, the daughter of the late Rupert and Flossie Williams Ashby.
Mona was a member of Waltons Creek Baptist Church and was a retail clerk for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, T.J. Bennett; her second husband, Alfons Georg Gahn; her sister, Ona Forrest; and a nephew, Phillip Gahn.
Survivors include her sister, Nancy Gahn; nieces and nephews, Herman Gahn Jr., Rev. Ronnie Forrest, Dinah Howard, Cheryl Patton, Jeff Forrest, and Greg Forrest; and caregivers, Tim and Dana Daugherty.
There will be a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are by Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, KY
