
She was a retired food service manager from the City of Whiting, Indiana. She was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church in McLean County, Kentucky, and a former member of Whiting Baptist Church and New Harvest Baptist Church in Caneyville, Kentucky.
Beverly was preceded also in death by her husband, Herschel Westerfield, and a son-in-law, Dennis Weller.
Survivors include a son, Butch (Lisa) Westerfield, of Leitchfield, Kentucky; three daughters, Jewell D. (Ron) Fortener, of Hartford, Glenda S. Weller, and Anna R. (Dan) Irvine, both of Whiting, Indiana; a brother, James D. Canary, of Fordsville; two sisters, Martha R. Phillips, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Linda “Susie’ Russell, of Schererville, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville, with burial in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
