NEWBURGH, Ind. — Marie Nita McClure Stofer, 88, of Newburgh, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018. She was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Dan and Delia Ann Burden Moore.
She had worked for General Electric and was the owner of Busy Bee Grill Restaurant. Nita was a Mary Kay representative, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a former member of Green Brier Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Birthel McClure; and her second husband, Tom Stofer.
Survivors include her children, Danny McClure (Anne), of Georgia, Willis McClure (Sharon), of Rockport, Indiana, Loranna Huff (David), of Georgia, and Eddie McClure (Donna), of Owensboro, Kentucky; grandchildren, Danny McClure Jr., Brent McClure, Andy McClure, Lori Faubion, Ryan McClure, Matt Huff, Ben Huff and Chad McClure; great-grandchildren, Gunn McClure, Garrett McClure, Taylor McClure, Bailey McClure, Delaney McClure, Hannah Faubion, Dakota Towery, Kely McCalister, Alex Huff, Abbi Huff, Lauren Huff and Maggie Huff; and sister, Wilma Daughtery.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Green Brier Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Green Brier Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
