CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Dora L. Williams, 91, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at Signature Healthcare in Hartford, Kentucky, surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 22, 1927, the daughter of the late Alexander and Lucy Hamlet Simpson.
Dora was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eckles J. Williams; son, Randall Williams; daughter, Wilma Williams (Kenny Whitten); great-grandson, Dakota Felty; brothers, Frank, Hub, Roger, Jim, and Johnnie Simpson; sisters, Mary Johnson, Rena Mae Daugherty, Regine English, and Mildred Cox.
Survivors include her daughter, Alma (Jerry) Faught ; sons, Ray (Judy) Williams, Donald (Barbara) Williams, Ted (Debbie) Williams and Bob Williams; 16 grandkids, 30 great-grandkids, and four great-great-grandkids.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with Bro. Matthew Sickling officiating, burial in Waltons Creek Cemetery near Centertown. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday.
