HARTFORD, Ky. — Reba Louise Cole, 89, of Hartford, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at the Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Whitesville, Kentucky, Dec. 12, 1929, to the late Fount Fieldon and Lola Westerfield Fieldon.
She was a member of Clear Run Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Fieldon, and her son-in-law, Mickey Smith.
Reba is survived by her husband of 69 years, Vernon Ray Cole; her children, Deborah Smith, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Sheila Fields, of Hartford, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jim Smith, of Chicago, Illinois, Mike Smith, of Evansville, Indiana, Brad (Molly) Smith, of Nashville, Tennessee, Ryan Fields, of Owensboro, Kentucky; her great-grandchildren, Charlotte Smith and Emily Smith both, of Nashville, Tennessee; and her sister, Peggy Daugherty, of Owensboro, Kentucky.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home, with Pastor Stephen Freels officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
