BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Maurice Walker “Moe” Jackson, 58, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. He was born Nov. 4, 1960, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Franklin Jackson Sr. and Martine Amos Jackson.
Moe was a heavy equipment operator.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his stepgrandson, Gabriel Chinn.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ellen Jackson, of Beaver Dam; daughter, Jillian (Sean) Lenn, of Hartford; three stepchildren, Justin (Amanda) Shaffer, of Hartford, Sarah Chinn, of Beaver Dam, and Rachel Shaffer, of Beaver Dam; two grandchildren, Sierra Osborne and Mercedes Lenn; 10 stepgrandchildren; and brother, Franklin (Aleceia) Jackson Jr., of Whitesville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
