BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Cecil Wayne Durbin, 54, of Beaver Dam, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at his residence. He was born Dec. 7, 1963, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Everett Durbin and Eula Phelps Durbin.
Mr. Durbin loved his family, especially his grandchildren and his best friend “Taz”.
He enjoyed anything to do with his truck which his family lovingly referred to as “his rust bucket”.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Watson; uncle, Billy Durbin; and aunt, Agnes Phelps.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 34 years, Monica Durbin; son, Bradley Durbin; two daughters, Brittany (Reggie) Durbin and Bethany (Jay) Durbin, all of Beaver Dam; two grandchildren, A’mariyah Durbin-Crusoe, La’monn Durbin-Crusoe, and one on the way; brother, Kenny (Charlotte) Durbin, of McHenry, Kentucky; and sister, Kim (B.J) Wilson, of Rockport, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jim Hohimer. Burial will follow in Hickory Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Mr. Durbin’s family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
