Malvin Thomas ‘Bo’ Brown

FALLS OF ROUGH, Ky. — Malvin Thomas “Bo” Brown, 74, of Falls of Rough, died Saturday morning, Nov. 3, 2018. Bo was born in Fordsville, Kentucky, son of the late Fred Brown and Elvera Brown Howard. He married Jean Dunaway in Elizabethtown, Illinois.

Bo was an ironworker with Ironworkers Local 103 of Evansville, Indiana. He later worked for and retired from Dunaway Timber Company in Fordsville. He helped build large parts of the communities he loved.

He also was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, Melvin; brother, Thurman “Peewee” Brown; and a nephew, Brian Brown.

Surviving are his spouse, Jean; a son, Eddie, and his wife, Sunny, of Louisville, Kentucky; and a son, Andrew, and his wife, Sara, of Windermere, Florida. Bo is also survived by brother, James “Jim” Brown and his wife, Evelyn, of Towanda, Illinois; brother, Erman “Mealy” Brown, of Fordsville; sisters-in-law, Jessie Brown, of Fordsville, and Virvian Brown, of Hartford, Kentucky; and a niece and numerous nephews.

The family extends a special thanks to Bo’s physicians, Dr. Kevin Ridenhour, Dr. Darby Cole, and Dr. J. Russell Ross.

It was Bo’s wish that he be remembered by friends and family as they knew him in life; accordingly, no services will be held.
