RADCLIFF, Ky. — Larry Triplett, 78, of Radcliff, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, after a brief illness with cancer. Mr. Triplett was born July 23, 1940, in Hartford, Kentucky, and was a member of Hartford Christian Church.
He was retired police officer for the Chicago Police Department and a remained a member of the Chicago FOP. Larry has resided in Radcliff for 31 years and he is known for his generosity to his friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. and Alice Henry Triplett; and a daughter, Tamara Triplett.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Carlo Burris Triplett, of Radcliff; one brother, Joe Triplett, of Owensboro, Kentucky; one son, Larry Triplett Jr.; four grandchildren, Alan R. Triplett, Christine Lopez and her husband, Eddie, Amanda M. Mendez, Scott Ellard and his wife, Andrea; eight and a half great-grandchildren, all of Northern Indiana.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. (EST) until 8 p.m. (EST) Tuesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, Kentucky, and from 10 a.m. (CST) until 11 a.m. (CST) Wednesday at William L. Danks Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
Funeral services for Mr. Triplett will be held at 11:00 AM CST, Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Danks Funeral Home, 222 N. Lafayette Street, Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Beaver Dam.
