Citizens of Hartford,
My name is Jerry Likens. I am a lifelong resident of Ohio County and have called Hartford my home for many years. I am married to Shari Tichenor Likens. We have two sons, Jed and Jake.
I graduated from Ohio County High School and served in the Kentucky National Guard from 1972-1978. I also attended Owensboro Vocational School for two years, where I studied printing.
Shari and I started our printing business in our garage. We then moved to our current location in downtown Hartford in 1985.
I am honored to have served in several organizations over the years: officer in the Ohio County Band Boosters, Ohio County Fair Board, member of the Ohio County Chamber of Commerce, and was bus driver and driver/trainer for the Ohio County Board of Education.
It is my desire to serve the citizens of Hartford as a city council member. I am currently looking into ways to improve water bills, sewer costs and cell phone service in Hartford.
