This week we have our first OC Healthy Recipe for you. This avocado and tomato salad is a very simple recipe Tiffany Calvert of OC Healthy makes a lot of and her family loves it.
It is also deceptively tasty, given that avocados and tomatoes aren’t known to have big flavor, but the added salt gives them a boost and the red pepper flakes add another dimension of flavor and spice.
RECIPE: Avocado Tomato Salad
1 – large avocado
1 – large tomato or equivalent
Sea salt and red pepper flakes to your taste
Directions: Chomp the avocado and tomato to a very chunky size or to whatever size your prefer and put it all into a bowl.
Add sea salt and red pepper flakes to your taste.
You can also try black pepper or a little cayenne pepper as a substitute for the pepper flakes.
