REYNOLDS STATION, Ky. — Mildred Penrod Johnson, 90, of Reynolds Station, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at her home.
She was retired from GE, was a business owner for many years, and a member of Newton Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl B. Johnson; her parents, Claude and Geneva Penrod; brother, Donald Penrod; sisters, Wilma Addock and Lillian Johnson; grandson, Scott Johnson; and great-grandson, Jake Coomes.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Becky) Johnson, of Russellville, Kentucky, and Allen Johnson, of Fordsville, Kentucky; three daughters, Sandy (Dennis ) Tierney, of Deanefield, Kentucky, Cathy (Sonny) Bickett, of Reynolds Station, and Liz (Jimmy) Staples, of Fordsville; a brother, Jerry Penrod, of Falls of Rough, Kentucky; a sister, Judy Penrod, of Calhoun, Kentucky; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Geary Funeral Home with burial in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation is 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
