BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Jean B. Thienes, 86, of Beaver Dam, went to her heavenly home Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab. She was born Aug. 30, 1932, in Cool Springs Community in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Victor Bullock and Ada King Bullock.

Mrs. Thienes retired from Thomas Industry and was a member of New Assembly and attended Cool Springs Baptist Church.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Neil Thienes; a grandson, Brian Lee Thienes; and four brothers, James Bullock, Kenneth Bullock, Randall Bullock, and Larry Bullock.

She leaves behind to treasure her memory a son, Milford (Violet) Thienes, of Beaver Dam; a granddaughter Lisa (Jamie) Basham; three great-grandchildren, Magan, Madison and Blaine; one great-great-granddaughter, Baylor Kate; three brothers, Charles Bullock, Walter Bullock, and Rodney Bullock; and three sisters, Sue Casey, Margaret Ginger, and Judy Payton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Alton “Doc” Crowe officiating. Friends may visit with Mrs. Thienes’ family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
