LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Wanda June Sheffield, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home Monday, Sept. 17, 2018. She was born July 12, 1924, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Arvin Heflin and Marlissa Foster Heflin.
Mrs. Sheffield and her late husband, “Ike” owned Sunoco Bulk Plant in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star OES Grave Chapter #37 and of the Baptist faith.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Issac “Ike” Sheffield.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, Ronald (Betty) Sheffield, of Vine Grove, Kentucky; two daughters, Betty (Dick) Curtis, of Louisville, and Brenda Enderle, of Louisville; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Carson Cemetery in Ohio County with Rev. Ed Mitchell officiating. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
