FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Robert Franklin “Bob” Rice, 93, of Fordsville, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Ohio County Hospital.
He was an Army veteran, was retired from Sun Windows and a member of Fordsville Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Louis Rice; a brother, Delbert Lee Rice; and sisters, Dorthy Partridge; and infant sister, Doris Rice.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Jean Rice, of Fordsville; three daughters, Carole (Bobby) Boling, of Valparaiso, Indiana, Bonnie Sue (Larry) Payne, of Hartford, Kentucky, and Bert Lynn (Stan) Burks, of Hawesville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Fordsville Baptist Church with burial in Fordsville Cemetery with military honors. Visitation is 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
