OWENSBORO, Ky. — Linda Kay Wilson, 70, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at her home. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky, June 20, 1948, to the late James and Almeda Quinn.

Linda greatly enjoyed fishing and traveling. In her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding and bowling. She loved spending time with her son, Travis, her grandchildren, and her best friend/cousin, Rosa Marsh.

She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and she had worked as a school bus driver for the Ohio County Board of Education and as a bus driver for the City of Owensboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Wilson; one son, Charles “Ricky” Wilson; and two brothers, Ray Quinn and Michael Wayne Quinn.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Travis Wayne Wilson, DMD, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Kerstin Jessi-Ann Wilson, Trevor Charles Wilson, Brenner Kane Raymer, Mikaelea Wilson, of Owensboro, Samantha Dixon (Chris), of Beaver Dam, and Joshua Wilson (Robin), of Pleasant Ridge, Kentucky; and nine great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Wendall Marsh (Valerie) and Helen Charles for their loving hands.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jeff Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Utica. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
