HARTFORD, Ky. — Charles Vaughn May, 63, of Hartford, was born on April 29, 1955, and passed away on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, holding his wife’s hand at the Heartford House. He was born to the late Mallam Vaughn May and Lillian Lee Ellis.
Charlie was an avid hunter, he loved guns, motorcycles, his dogs, and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca May; and stepchildren, Jimmy and Carrie Smith, Jamie Smith; and grandchildren, Seth Smith, Landon Smith, Mason Smith, Lorenzo Smith, and Benicio Smith.
Services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Fordsville, Kentucky. Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, Sept. 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
