HARTFORD, Ky. — Eugene Phelps, 75, of Hartford, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Rosine to the late Estil and Gracie Marie Swift Phelps.
He was a cut saw worker and worked at Young’s Manufacturing for 33 ½ years.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Pharris, and a brother, James Lewis Phelps.
Survivors include two sons, Richard (Tabitha) Phelps and Terry (Sue) Phelps; two daughters, Mary Ann Phelps(Noel) and Shirley (Larry) Calloway; a sister, Shirley Darlene Phelps; 15 grandchildren, Shawn, Brandon, Jamie, Rebecca, Felicia, Derek, Katie, Charlie, Roger, Shelly, Brandy, Nicholas, Ruby, Dakota, and Shana; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Services are 12 noon Friday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Rosine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 12 noon Friday at the funeral home.
