BREMEN, Ky. — Jerry W. Pharis, 66 of Bremen, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 30, 1952, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Harvey Estil and Wilma Jean Hoops Pharis.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Aaron McClintock (age 22); one granddaughter, Alissa Angell (age 23); and one brother-n-law, Ronnie Sailing (age 39).
Survivors include his wife of nearly 40 years, Lora Pharis, of Bremen; four children, Crystal (Bryan) Brown, of Crooksville, Ohio, Ladonna Pharis, of Bremen, Lester W. Pharis, of Bremen, and Jerry D. Pharis, of Bremen; three brothers, Donnie (Louise) Pharis, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Jimmy (Robin) Pharis, of McHenry, Kentucky, and Estil (Teresa) Pharis, of Bremen; four sisters, Debbie (Ray) Sailing, of Hartford, Kentucky, Mary Sailing, of Centertown, Kentucky, Cynthia (Gordon) Franklin, of Horace, North Dakota, and Vicky (Timmy) Farris, of Echols, Kentucky. Jerry was blessed with 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Danny Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Pharis’ family from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
