LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Lorenia Embry Mason, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Grayson County, Kentucky, to the late Matthew Small and Bessie Bratcher Small.
Ms. Mason retired from General Electric and attended Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Small and Junior Small.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Brenda Stevens, of Louisville, and Janice (Hugh) Schroader, of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandchildren, Tony (Brenda) Stevens, Tom Stevens, Lisa Schroader, Montye Schroader, Eddie Schroader; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Aldred Small.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Dr. Glenn Armstrong Officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Ms. Mason’s family Friday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
