HARTFORD, Ky. — Barbara A. Bennett, 64, of Hartford, died on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on Aug. 28, 1953, in Washington, D.C. to the late Louis Arnold Bennett and Joan Audie Sies.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting, taking care of others, crocheting and working on cars. Barbara loved spending time with family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Juanita Aull, Paula Bennett, and Carolyn Webster; and brothers, Louis Alvin Bennett, Daniel Wilbur Bennett and Terry Wahler.
Survivors include her two brothers, Haskell Bennett (Paula) and Jerry Shepherd; a sister, Martha Chilton (Glenn); nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
Funeral services will be at noon on Monday, July 30, at Woodwards Valley Baptist Church, Livermore. Burial will follow in Woodwards Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday at the church. Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville is in charge of the arrangements.
