OHIO COUNTY, Ky. — IvyLeigh Saylor Henry went home to be with Jesus on July 6, 2018.
She was loved dearly by her family and adored by her brother and sister. Her favorite things to do were to play with her brother and sister and go to Chick-Fil-A.
She loved to sing and dance and make you laugh. She was a ray of sunshine.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Russell Allison, Carl, and Mattie Henry, and her uncle Buster Henry, Vernon Floyd, Gene Tarvin, and Kenneth Townsend.
She is survived by parents, John and Christin Henry; paternal grandparents, Steve and Vikkie Henry; maternal grandparents, Chris and Gina Tarvin; great-grandparents, Maggie Allison, Sue Floyd, and Eva Mae; her aunts and uncles, Dan and Fawn Henry, Mattie and Mac Jenkins, Joshua and Emily Hicks; cousins, Holly Hicks, Marshall Henry, Bella Jenkins, Harper Hicks, and Kinley Jenkins; special mentions, Caroline Fields, Angie Fields, Brent Jones; and their dog Rowdy.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at First Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church. Private burial to follow in Fordsville, Kentucky, at the family cemetery.
