OHIO COUNTY, Ky. — Ireland Claire Henry ran to Jesus on July 22, 2018.
Ireland touched so many lives and brought so much joy in her short time on earth. She loved her family and brought joy and laughter and happiness to our lives. She always said she was “the mom” to her younger brother and sister, and now they are reunited once again.
Ireland loved her Bippy and Papa and her Nonni and Papaw so much. She loved being at church and singing her heart out to Jesus. She was mommy and daddy’s special little girl.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Russell Allison, Carl, and Mattie Henry; and her uncle Buster Henry, Vernon Floyd, Gene Tarvin, and Kenneth Townsend.
She is survived by parents, John and Christin Henry; paternal grandparents, Steve and Vikkie Henry; maternal grandparents, Chris and Gina Tarvin; great-grandparents, Maggie Allison, Sue Floyd, and Eva Mae Stanley; aunts and uncles, Dan and Fawn Henry, Mattie and Mac Jenkins, Joshua and Emily Hicks; cousins, Holly Hicks, Marshall Henry, Bella Jenkins, Harper Hicks, and Kinley Jenkins; special mentions, Caroline Fields, Angie Fields, Brent Jones; and their dog, Rowdy.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at First Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church. Private burial to follow in Fordsville, Kentucky, at the family cemetery.
