MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Lonell Mae Pierson Smith, 76, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Lonell was born May 30, 1942, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Veachel and Evelyn Graham Pierson and wife of the late Bobby Gene Smith.
She was a homemaker and other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother, Bill Pierson.
Lonell Mae Pierson Smith is survived by five daughters, Judy Lunsford, of McQuady, Kentucky, Wanda Brown and husband, Johnny, of Caneyville, Kentucky, Debbie Brown and husband, Sonny, of Clay, Kentucky, Teri Brown and husband, Lester, of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Lisa Brown and husband, Tommy, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; one son, Johnny Smith and wife, Sonia, of Quality, Kentucky; one brother, Glen Thompson, of Indiana; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday June 25, 2018 at 12:00pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 12 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
