FORDSVILLE, Ky. — James E. “Jim” Richards, 70, of Fordsville, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his home. He was born in Easton, Kentucky, to the late Jack and Ruby Richards.
He was a member of Newton Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Richards, of Fordsville; a son, William (Kara) Richards, of Fordsville; a daughter, Kimberly Walker, of Marion, Illinois; brothers, Gene (Kathy) Richards and Ronnie (Vonnie) Richards, both of Fordsville; sisters, Lou (Oliver) Sanders, of Fordsville, and Beverly Smith of Clarksville, Tennessee; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 9 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Newton Springs Cemetery in Hancock County, Kentucky. Visitation is 3p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville.
