OWENSBORO, Ky. — Byron Moxley, Jr., 86, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
He was born in Askins, Kentucky, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church at Falls of Rough, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Acie Moxley and Elton Moxley Chancellor; and sisters, Edna Erle Moxley Hecox and Jessie Gail Moxley.
Survivors include his brother, Darrell Chancellor, of Hermitage, Tennessee; and an aunt, Cathryn Wroe (Neville) Green, of Fordsville.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville with burial in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
