OWENSBORO, Ky. — Lois Faye Hicks —mother, granny, sister, aunt, niece, and friend— left her earthly body on May 11, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Owensboro, KY. She was 59. Lois was born in Camden, Delaware, Oct. 21, 1958, to the late James and Alberta Dill.
She was employed with LinGate Hospitality of Owensboro.
Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Diane Holiday.
Lois leaves behind her loving family; daughter, Crystal Gullett, of Owensboro; five grand babies, Aaron, Nevaeh, and Jordie, of Hartford, Kentucky, and Malcom and “Chewy,” of Owensboro; a brother, Paul Dill, of Magnolia, Delaware; a sister, Shirly Dill, of Magnolia; three nieces, Paula Laster, of Hartford, Jenny Gray, of Hartford, and Katie Dill, of Severna, Maryland; one nephew, Ben Dill, of Magnolia; three great-nieces, Elizabeth Richardson, of Glasgow, Kentucky, Emma Richardson, of Hartford, and Rainlei Gray, of Hartford; one great-nephew, Spencer Gray, of Hartford. Lois also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and so many friends, all of whom will miss her tremendously.
There will be private viewing for immediate family. Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Hicks.
