Elvis Doolin, candidate for Ohio Co. Coroner

Submitted by Elvis Doolin, Republican candidate for Ohio County Coroner

Hello, my name is Elvis Doolin and I am seeking the office of Coroner. I reside at 17 Magan Rd. in Hartford, Kentucky. I am son of the late Ted and Ida B. Doolin of Magan and have been a life long resident of Ohio County. I am a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, member of Hartford Masonic Lodge No. 675 F. & A.M. and a member of the Kentucky Peace Officers Association. I am a graduate of Fordsville High School and a Certified Peace Officer through the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, Kentucky. I have worked in law enforcement for 27 years, of which I served as Ohio County Sheriff for 17 years and two months. I have worked in public service the majority of my life operating businesses, farming, and law enforcement.

My past experiences in law enforcement, and the knowledge I have obtained throughout the years as a public servant, I feel would enable me to fulfill the duties of the Coroner, and would be an asset to that office. I am certain I would be a good candidate for the position, and if elected I am confident that I can carry out the duties and responsibilities bestowed upon me for the office.

My past employment records will reflect that I have been very dependable, dedicated and devoted to all the jobs that I have undertaken.

I so humbly ask for everyone’s vote and support in the upcoming election and if I am fortunate enough to be elected, I shall feel honored to serve as your Coroner. Thank You!
