FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Larry Gordon Kirk, 84, of Fordsville, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky. He was born Aug. 27, 1933, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Oda and Ruby Sanders Kirk.
He was a licensed plumber and licensed electrician and was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stefanie Kirk.
Larry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Rogers Kirk; a son, Steve Kirk; a daughter, Shelly (Pat) Jenkins; seven grandchildren, Stevie Garrison, Patrick (Lauren) Jenkins, III, Kirk Jenkins, Tyler (Mallory) Jenkins, Andrea Jenkins, Tori Kirk, and Erin Kirk; three great-grandsons, Landen, Camden and Jace Garrison; a brother, Jerry (Ursula) Kirk; and a sister, Joyce Winchester.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville, with burial in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
