FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Larry Wayne Utley, 75, of Fordsville, died Friday, April 27, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Health System. He was born in Madisonville, Kentucky, Aug. 18, 1942, to the late George Utley and Minnie Poe Utley.
He was a retired diesel mechanic. Larry loved restoring classic cars and was an avid admirer of antique clocks, but most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Pressley Utley; his four children, Bobbie Jo Phillips, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Rachel Utley, of Denver, Colorado, Paul Utley, of Aurora, Colorado, and Christina Phillips, of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Joshua Utley, Jade Proctor, and Caitlin Proctor; and his life-long friends, Roger and Phyllis Buchanan.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will be at Zion Brick Church Cemetery in Slaughters, Kentucky. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
