LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Helen L. Embry, 81, of Louisville, formerly of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Regis Woods Healthcare and Nursing Facility in Louisville. She was born on July 6, 1936, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, to the late Rudolph Lindemann and Ester French Whobrey.
Helen was a member of Liberty Methodist Church in Beaver Dam and was a member of Beaver Dam’s Grace Chapter #37 of the Order of Eastern Star.
Aside from her parents, Mrs. Embry was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Embry, and one sister, June Rowe.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Scottie (Gwen) Embry, of Louisville, and Gary (Bonnie) Embry, of Lexington, Kentucky; one sister, Linda Parker, of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Amanda (Tim) Rothrock, Brandon (Andrea) Embry, Kristin Embry, Eric Embry, and Adam Embry; and four great-grandchildren, Caroline Embry, Carson Smith, Kylie Garten, and Allison Garten.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Charles Brownd officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Mrs. Embry’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
