BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Charles Geary, 81, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 25, 2018, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Feb. 17, 1937, to the late Kenneth Gary and Covie Geary.

Mr. Geary faithfully attended Abundant Life Church in Beaver Dam for several years. He also established Geary’s Roofing and Sheet Metal (50 years). He was not afraid of working hard, as he enjoyed the work he did. He liked spending time on the golf course. He also had a passion for helping others in need.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters, and three brothers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Emma Daugherty Geary, of Beaver Dam; brother, Wayne Gary, of Louisville, Kentucky; his beloved pet dachshund, Abbey, who liked to steal his socks; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Charles Shephard and Bro. Keith Shephard officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Geary’s family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
