OWENSBORO, Ky. — Timothy Cotton, 52, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at his home. He was born on Dec. 16, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Eugene Cotton and the late Ethel M. Pierce Cotton.
Tim was a member of Owensboro First Church of God, and he retired after seven years from Starway TV where he worked as a sales manager.
Along with his mother, Tim was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Karen Sue Braden.
Tim is survived by his stepchildren, Kimberly (Glenn) Cline, of Owensboro, Kenneth T. Braden, of Masonville, Kentucky, and Stephen W. Braden, of Owensboro, 10 stepgrandchildren, and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Lena (Bruce) Mitchell, of Hartford, Kentucky, Lanetta (Bo) Lytle, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Michael Cotton, of Owensboro.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with burial at Clear Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
