OWENSBORO, Ky. — Warren Lynn Hulsey, 71, of Owensboro, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky, on Feb. 15, 1947, to the late D. W. “Bill” Hulsey and Helen Lee Hulsey.
Warren was a veteran of the United States Army and served during Vietnam. He enjoyed woodworking and visiting with anyone that he could share a joke with and make laugh, especially his friends at the Am Vets.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Hulsey; and his companion, Kenny Simmons.
Survivors include his daughter, Sherri Sapp and her fiancé, Jeff, of Hartford, Kentucky; a son, Kevin Hulsey and his wife, Natalia, of Buford, Georgia; five grandchildren, James D. Sapp II, Nicholas Sapp, Em Hulsey, Angel Hulsey, and Andrea Hulsey; and his brother, Randall Hulsey and his wife, Joyce, of Owensboro.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
