HARTFORD, Ky. — Curtis L. Calloway, 63, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. He was born July 17, 1954, son of the late Carl F. and Mary Lena Taylor Calloway.
Curtis was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, bringing laughter to people around him and was a very good musician.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Calloway; son, Curtis Heath Calloway; daughters, Alicia (Robbie) Stevens and Anita Smith; grandchildren, Felicia (Daniel) Edwards, Derick Jones and Kaylee Smith; great-grandchildren, Leena Jones, Jensen Edwards and Averie Edwards; brothers, Mike (Georgia) Calloway, Danny(Pam) Calloway, David Calloway, and Jeff (Debbie) Calloway; stepchildren, Robert (Reesie) Burden and Kristi (Adam) Geary; stepgrandchildren, Hank Burden, Matthew Burden, Aiden Geary and Konner Geary.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. John Daugherty officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
