ROSINE, Ky. — Jimmie Ray Lunsford, 70, of Rosine, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1947, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Thomas Gordon and Olive Mae Bosel Lunsford.
He was retired from Thrall Car Rail Road Manufacturing where he worked as a welder.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Lunsford.
Survivors include his siblings, Tom Lunsford, Roger (Faith) Lunsford, Linda Durham, Rick (Betsy) Lunsford, Mike Lunsford, Barbara (Leon) Richmond, Tim (Juanita) Lunsford and Stacey (James) Woolen. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
