REYNOLDS STATION, Ky. — Hannah Katherine Arrington, 79, of Reynolds Station, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, as she sang praises to her Savior to take her hand and lead her Home at Safe Harbor Christian Fellowship. She was born on Sept. 6, 1938, in Easton, Kentucky, to the late Lonard and Mae Sanders Hurst.
Katherine was a member of Safe Harbor Christian Fellowship and was a senior companion for Audubon Area. She enjoyed spending time with family, singing in church and taking care of others.
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Tilford Arrington Jr., and siblings, Rose Tindle, Thomas Hurst, Elizabeth Boling, Dolly Mattingly and Ernest Hurst.
Her family left to carry on her legacy include her daughter, Kay Cooper; three sons, Rick Hurst (Carol), Randall Arrington (Crystal), and Timmy “Hobo” Arrington; 11 grandchildren, Willie Hurst (Belinda), Rickey Hurst, Elizabeth “Bessie” Howell (Scott), Jessica Miller, Stormie Renfrow (Stephen), Thunder Arrington, Chris Finley, Derek Greer, Ryan Arrington , Dakota Cooper and Hannah Cooper; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lona Embrey, Zella Embrey, Nancy Chancellor, and Opal Keown (Robert); multiple spiritual sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, and grandchildren including but not limited to her son in Christ, Larry Sosh and her Safe Harbor family.
Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville, Kentucky; the family is requesting that people wear bright colors to her Funeral to celebrate her Life. Burial will be in Boling Chapel Cemetery. Katherine’s family will greet friends from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
