
He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Western Kentucky Gas/Atmos Energy after 40 years of service as a senior operations specialist. Nanner enjoyed NASCAR, UK Basketball, fishing trips with his buddies, and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Clouse, in 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Girten Nantz; two daughters, Donna Graves (Kenny), of Owensboro, and Lynn Marsh (Jim), of Owensboro; nine grandchildren, Ryan Lane, Danny Clouse, Dustin Ewing (Julia), Jackie Clouse (Neil), Allen Marsh (Chryssie), Adam Marsh, Kim Johnson, Darin Graves, and Chris Graves; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Catherine Hoover, Raymond Nantz (Anna Simpson), Wendell Nantz (Jane), and Sue Hatfield (Marshall).
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.
