ECHOLS, Ky. — Kay Saling, 68, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born April 7, 1949, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Rollie and Gladys Brown Sampson.
Kay was a homemaker, graduated from Graham High School and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Sampson.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jerry Saling; two daughters, Melony (Mark) Sheffield and Jenny (Justen) Hayden; three grandchildren, Toby Sheffield,
Kayda Hayden, and Jaxen Hayden; one stepgrandson, Matthew (Christy) Sheffield; two brothers, David (Debbie) Sampson and Mike (Sue) Sampson; one sister, Felicia
Sue Stanley; one sister-in-law, Glenda Sampson; one fur baby, Sugar; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Larry Lile officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Church Cemetery. You may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Kay Saling Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
