CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Celia Ann Hobdy Jones, 69, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at her home. She was born in Centertown July 29, 1948, daughter of the late Kenneth Maurice and Reba Modine Blanchard Hobdy.
Celia was a homemaker and had worked in Owensboro as a realtor and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Hobdy.
Survivors include her daughter, Suzan Angelita Jones Marlow (David); three grandchildren, Falisha Marlow(Johnnie), Deric Marlow(Heather), and Zach Marlow(Amanda); eight great-grandchildren, Gavin, Karmin, Hailee, Gerald, Conner, August, Bryleigh, and Johnnie; and two sisters, Kaye Ewing (James) and Reba Besecker(Steve).
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Terry Tarrence officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
