OWENSBORO, Ky. — Wesley Gene Hall, 55, of Owensboro, passed on Oct. 17, 2017, from cancer but is now in the arms of Jesus. He was born on Aug. 25, 1962, in Owensboro.

He had been employed by Ryan’s Restaurant and was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. He loved his family and had a great sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Lynn Murphy, and his great-nephew, Jayden Clark Ulmer.

He is survived by his parents, Janice and Stephen Hall, of Owensboro; three daughters, Amanda (David) Bartos, Amber (Jobilly) Helbert, and Lacey Hall, all of Owensboro; a brother, Jeffery Hall, of Owensboro; three sisters, Dolly (Jimmy) Hughes, Mary Donahue, and Karla (Roy) Hodskins, all of Owensboro; a half-sister, Tina Liesure (Cardell), of Hartford, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Tryistan, Colton, Judge, Justice, Mashayla, and Madison, all of Owensboro; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

Services are 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
