CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Mary Lee Burden Brown, 63, of Centertown, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born Dec. 31, 1953, in Centertown, Kentucky, to the late Leslie Estil and Ora Fern Scalf Burden.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and was a member of Centertown Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Phillip Brown in Dec. 2005; one daughter, Melina Brown; and two sisters, Judy Christ and Lou Wade.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby (Maria) Brown, of Centertown, John (Tina) Brown, of Kronos, Kentucky, and Jackie (Crystal) Brown, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; two daughters, Angela Johnson, of Beaver Dam, and Salina (Bobby) Sutton, of Horse Branch, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bobby Lee (Jeanie) Burden, of Kronos, and Winfred (Linda) Burden, of Beaver Dam.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Taylor Mines Cemetery in Beaver Dam with Bro. Timmy Hall officiating. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
