CENTRAL CITY, Ky. — Lloyd “Bea Bea” Williams, 74, of Central City, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at 10:48 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Williams was born Feb. 15, 1943, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.
He was a shift engineer at Kentucky Utilities, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Central City, where he served as Chairman of Trustees.
He was an avid billiards player. He was a member of Central City Masonic Lodge #673, Central City Lions Club, and was a graduate of Central City High School Class of 1961.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Abby Ann Stovall; father, Charles L. Williams; mother, Lorena Caudill; and brother, Lt. Col. Jesse Rodgers Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Williams; daughter, Amy (Greg) Luttrell, of Central City; grandchildren, Macey and Meredith Mayes of Central City; step-grandchildren, Will (Brittany) Luttrell, Kristen (Jaron) Porter, and Andrew (Alexis) Luttrell; step-great-grandchild Layton Luttrell; sisters, Jane Harreld, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Margaret Williams, of Central City, and Nancy Williams, of Central City; sister-in-law, Jewell Dean Williams; and niece, Jennifer (Chris) Luttrell, of Central City; and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Central City, with Rev. Tom Eblen officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 9:30 a.m. at the church.
