BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Clarice L. Ferguson Felty, 90, of Beaver Dam, made her journey to her heavenly home on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born in Wysox, Kentucky, on Oct. 1, 1926, to the late Willie S. Ferguson and Eunice Davenport Ferguson.
Mrs. Felty was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Butler County, Kentucky, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Felty; daughter, Sharon Kay Sapp; sister, Dimple Lee; brother, Junior Ferguson; and an infant brother, Jimmy Ferguson.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce A. Taylor, of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Teresa (Bobby) Barrow, of Lewisburg, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Kara (Leigh) Ballantine, Rebecca (Tim) McKeown, Alyssa (John) O’Driscoll, Ashton Barrow, Bethany (Eric) Lawson, and Brett (Jennifer) Barrow; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Avery Johnson; one sister, Evalene Porter, of Owensboro, Kentucky; and one brother, Glen (Linda) Ferguson, of Beaver Dam.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Gary Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Mrs. Felty’s family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
