FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Herman J. Wallner, 92, of Fordsville, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at his daughter’s home, under the care of Hospice of Ohio County.

He was a retired farmer, a World War II veteran and was of the Lutheran faith.

He was preceded in death by a son, William “Billy” Wallner.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wallner, of Fordsville; his children, Harold Wallner, of Fordsville, Shari McManaway, of Reynolds Station, Kentucky, and Julie Wallner Brewer, of Calhoun, Kentucky; a brother, Richard Wallner, of Illinois; a sister, Alberta Nation, of Illinois; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pattiville, Kentucky. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
