OWENSBORO, Ky. — Kenny Hinton, 58, of Owensboro, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Kenneth Elliott Hinton was born Sept. 20, 1958, in Owensboro, to the late James Alred and Betty Ann Elliott Hinton and was married to the former Carla Jo Henry Aug. 1, 1992.
Kenny was a warehouse manager for A.F.S. in Livermore and a member of the Catholic faith. He also enjoyed karaoke and listening to music.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Carla Henry Hinton, who died Jan. 7, 2016.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Hinton, of North Carolina, and Reed Hinton (Courtney), of Calhoun, Kentucky; two grandchildren; his fiancée, Mary J. Doty, of Owensboro; and three sisters, Pam Higdon, of Knottsville, Kentucky, Lori Harder, of Fordsville, Kentucky, and Jill Hinton, of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Kenny’s family from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at Musters in Calhoun.
